Applicable Minnesota Tax rates are applied for all charges incurred on your stay at Dancing Bear Resort. Current tax rates are 6.875%.
Our goal is to offer comfortable, cozy cabins for you that have all the amenities you need for a fun, family vacation. We honor and acknowledge that our economy in the US has had its share of bumps and blips over the course of the last few years. Just at a time when we all need a vacation the most is a time when it became tougher for many.
So, we will always be a location in which your family will be able to stay at a reasonable price, without a lot of ”extra” charges for this and that. Personally, nickel-and-diming maddens us and we want to have everything under one easy-to-understand pricing structure.
Reservations & Deposits
To book a cabin, check the calendar to see if the weeks you desire are available. Then call or email us and we will check availability and get you “in the books.” There is also a calendar on each cabin’s page that will show what is available for that year.
We ask for a non-refundable $100 deposit, of course you can pay more if you desire. During our summer season of June, July and August we prefer to book full weeks, but ask us about partial week vacation stays.
Starting 2014 - On January 1st of the year you will be visiting us, please send an additional $200 deposit. This gives you plenty of time to touch base with friends and family and confirm your vacation plans.

Cancellations
Of course, we hope nothing will interfere with your vacation, but life can get in the way. Your deposit will be held over for you for three years for a rebooked vacation. We will handle each on a case-by-case basis.
